In 2003, Bill Cosby briefly took over the set of “The Late Show with David Letterman” and sat down with a fresh-faced Sofia Vergara, years before she was a household name.
Cosby, who would be accused by dozens of women of rape and molestation charges a decade later, gave a hair-raising “interview” that consisted mostly of him ogling Vergara’s breasts.
“That’s what happens when you pull [a dress] over your head and it’s too tight,” Cosby said to Vergara about a recent wardrobe change. “Then you pull it down here, and it’s still too tight — men look at you and they think only of sin.”
The rest of the “interview” didn’t go much better, with Cosby’s comments getting more uncomfortable as he stayed transfixed on Vergara’s chest.
“What you have on tonight is wonderful,” Cosby said. “This is, this is wonderful. And when you walked out, many people became attentive.”
