On Wednesday night’s final installment of the “Late Show with David Letterman,” some of Letterman’s most famous and frequent guests stopped by for one final goodbye to their friend, Dave.
Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Bill Murray, Barbara Walters, Peyton Manning, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis Dreyfus and Steve Martin joined Letterman to deliver the final top 10 list.
The “Top Ten Things I’ve Always Wanted to Say to Dave,” perfectly captured the bizarre and peculiar sense of humor that made Letterman a star, with each guest perfectly delivering their final jab at the late night host.
Some highlights included Julia Louis-Dreyfus joking about being a part of another dissapointing series finale, as her Seinfeld co-star, Jerry Seinfeld glared at her from several feet away.
The true highlight had to be Letterman’s final guest from Tuesday night, and late night stalwart, Bill Murray, who came on to deliver some bad news to Letterman.
“I’ll never have the money I owe you,” Murray joked.
